This is my first look at Geexbox. I’m attempting to install to HDD but at the boot screen it will not take keyboard input. It’s a Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3 MB with PS2 keyboard and mouse. I have tried USB keyboard and mouse to no avail. I’ve tried both the 32 and 64 bit isos. If I let it boot, once it’s up, the keyboard and mouse work fine. What’s the trick?
Thanks
Mark

I do have a couple other PCs where the keyboard does work. What MB is in yours?

The keyboards does work after CD BOOT, and on other computers with different operating systems, like Mac OS X, Windows XP. The motherboard is Foxconn with Intel Celeron 2,66GHz.
you can install even from a running xbmc, here is how :
switch to vt2, and execute this :
systemctl stop xbmc
umount the disk you want to install geexbox (you can see this by executing `cat /proc/mounts`)
in my case , i do :
umount /dev/sda1
then copy the needed files for installator :
cp -R /media/GEEXBOX/* /.root
run installator :
installator
Thanks tomlohave, that appears to work. Booting from the HD now. Thanks.
